Our 6th wedding anniversary just so happened to land on a day when we were here in Seattle. And it just so happens that the Seahawks were playing a home game on this particular day. AND it just so happened that it was the day after our dearest friends came home from vacation AND had the day off. So, we bought four tickets to the game and spent our anniversary at the Clink (Seahawks stadium) losing our voices from yelling at what was the highest scoring game in Seahawks history.
58-0, people.
And did I mention we're in a playoff race?
I'm not sure if there is anything more fun than going to an NFL game, especially when your home stadium is the loudest stadium in the entire NFL. And we spent like hundreds of dollars on two jerseys, two hats, a sweatshirt, like 10 beers and various food items. Damn essential football paraphernalia.
Our ears are ringing, we have no voice and I'm pretty sure Brad and Joe will be hungover tomorrow, but it was definitely the BEST day I've had in the last year, easily.
I'll be smiling about that one for a while.
