Calenisms

Calen was just full of "Calenisms" today.

First he threw on his hat and slipped Daddy's boots on and announced (very seriously) "I'm going to work." Then he stomped into the kitchen, and yelled out "Hey daddy, want a beer?"

Yep, proud Mom. Right here.

Going to work. With his pants unbuttoned too.
Then we went to Costco.

Can I just stop here for a moment and I say that I love Costco? Especially during the (almost) holiday season with all their awesome toys and decorations and TOYS. And we (finally) got new all-terrain/all season tires for our truck for a steal that they installed while we got to walk around and spend astounding amounts of money on food and clothes and a 20 pound turkey for Thanksgiving.

Good Lord where was I?

Anyways, we were driving back from Costco and Calen was drinking a juice box and half falling asleep in and out. We went over a rather large bump and Calen startled awake and announced:

"Hey! Do NOT bump! Be nice to my apple juice. It's full. No more bumping."

And then he proceeded to scold us anytime we went over the slightest bump.

And it's a 4Runner, people. It's bumpy. It's not like driving a freaking Escalade. So he scolded us a lot.

Also at Costco I was making chicken noises. The boys were laughing so hard Cam almost threw up. It probably had something to do with the half a hot dog bun that he swallowed whole too. That boy doesn't chew.
