The Aftermath
Well the water has receded in Cape May and what is left behind is no less than 400 tons of leaves, dead reeds and branches in our front yard. And one seashell.
We helped our neighbors clean it up this afternoon and Brad busted out the leaf blower to make things easier.
I think he just convinced us it was easier so that he had an excuse to use the leaf blower again.
And he gave Calen a chance to use it solo.
Calen liked having all that power at his fingertips. So much so that he would turn it off just so that he could turn it back on again.

Also, it seems like Hurricane Sandy completely wiped out fall. Because we came back and it's now winter. It's SO cold compared to when we evacuated on Sunday. (not that I'm complaining. I was over the warm summerish weather).
