Calen had speech therapy today and they prefer it when the parents aren't in the room to interfere, change their reactions/answers to things etc. But, they want the parents to be able to learn how to work with the kids at the same time, and you know security purposes, so they want us to be able to see and hear.
So Calen goes into the little therapy room with his therapist, and I go to another room with a little cubicle that is outfitted with a tv screen and headphones, which feeds Hi-Def video and audio from a little camera in the top corner of the room. So I can see and hear everything that's happening. And not actually be there.
Neat.
What I see from my private little viewing area. Headphones provide sound. |
