To Infinity And Beyond

Calen decided to be Buzz Lightyear this afternoon, and kept climbing the couch, yelling "to infinity and beyond!" and then leaping off the couch into his bean bag chair, "getting the bad guys" (the bad guys were his Angry Birds stuffed pillows). 

And then once he'd land on the floor, he'd say "Awwwww, I can't fly!!!" and get mad.

"Well, just pretend!"

"But I just CAN'T fly!!!!"

That kid is so literal.

But then it turned into an Angry Birds fight between him and Daddy as they launched the Angry Bird pillows at each others' faces ("Put your face up!" Calen would say). And that was much more fun. Especially since he was still dressed as Buzz Lightyear.
