They're both very much active in sports, but they also are both really into science and all that great "nerdy" stuff.
Especially Calen, who today came home and had a very intense Pokemon card trading session with his friend, then played basketball for two hours, then suited up and played in his baseball game as the starting catcher (AND had an amazing heads-up play where he dropped the 3rd strike but snatched it and threw a bullet to 1st base to get the out).
And then he came home, took a shower, and ran outside in his space pajamas with Dad to stare at all the craters of the moon close up with his new telescope he got for his birthday, and TOTALLY hopping up and down geeking out about it.
Athlete by day, rocket scientist by night.
Just how I like it.
