The problem with living in a summer town is that for the colder half of the year, the town shuts down and everyone leaves. So there are no indoor activity options anywhere. Especially for kids.
The kids are bored and bored kids means trouble. Cam has learned how to pry open some child proof cabinets (and his little friend learned that trick today too) and Calen has learned how to convince me every day to watch an extra hour or so of television.
So, we are going to enroll him in Karate next week most likely. Something for him to do and he can kick and punch and most importantly wear himself out.
We basically didn't do anything exciting today except had a playdate and Calen and I had a rousing game of the Fishing Game. In which I totally competed and he totally kicked the crap out of me. Three times in a row.
