Day 284: If At First You Don't Succeed...

We did a second attempt of one of those 3D foam Christmas houses today, after yesterday's fiasco. This one was smaller, looked simpler, and had color instructions. 

Amazing what a couple of primary colors can do for directions. 

Kids did most of this themselves! Calen even put the actual house together. 

This house had an inside! The tree is supposed to be outside but Calen insisted it be in the living room "like our house"

The boys and I whipped this out in about 45 minutes while we watched the first half of the Seahawks game. Other than that, we laid very low today. We had a bustling weekend and truly needed a day of rest. 

Also, that God-blessed elf has been at his shenanigans again lately. 

Fred stole our Mickey ears ornament and is riding the monorail past Mickey's Christmas Carol
