Locust Attack Shelters

It was warm today but we stayed inside because I'm pretty positive we were under attack by a swarm of baby locusts or something equally terrifying because my mother and I had to make a run for our lives from my truck to the front door because we were under attack by no less than 100 billion gnats locusts.

Thank God they didn't realize that we were delicious pieces of juicy red meat and they weren't biting...yet. But we did have to thrust all of the gnat-covered grocery bags into the back yard and completely change our wardrobes and brush the bugs out of our teeth, but otherwise we did survive.

But we did decide it was much safer indoors.

But you never know. Those locusts are tenacious and can find their way into what you think is an impenetrable home.

So we built a Locust Shelter.

Because even if locusts did manage to get into our home there is no WAY they could get into a blanket fort locust shelter in the middle of the dining room.

And it also made a great place to play dinosaurs.
