Day 70: Roughing It

It's our last day here at Fallen Leaf Lake. We wasted no time to devour our breakfast, pack up our campsite and check out (and move our car to daily parking) and spend our last day on the lake.

Paddleboarding definitely took over our lives this weekend, and it's our new favorite hobby.

The water looks shallower than it is! That's waist deep right there. It's SO clear

Rebel only slightly tolerated it, but he did appreciate it more when he didn't have to have his doggie life jacket on.

At one point it got super windy, which makes for choppy waters! The boys called it "white water rafting" so of course we all went out on it and braved the waves and fell off a million times in the rough.

By late afternoon it was time to head back home, so we said our goodbyes to the lake, and one of our new favorite places on earth.

Until next year, Fallen Leaf.
