Day 256: Blanket Theater and the Search for the Holy Grail

As all of the 10 people that read this blog know, we have been movie-prepping the kids for our Disney trip for the last two months, and we are leaving in four days. Basically we've covered all the important movies and repeated a few too, with the exception of one impossible to find without spending $350 movie, Pinocchio.

We looked to buy it online, but it's unavailable. We looked to rent it but it's also nowhere to be found. We fruitlessly asked around the local neighbors, but no one else can find it, either.

Damn Disney and their "movie vault"!!

I finally found it for a reasonable price and bought it on Amazon. We were all excited to finally sit down and watch this classic movie.

And it was the European version, which means WRONG COUNTRY CODE ERROR on my Playstation.

Well F*#!$

Thankfully, we managed to find a way to stream it online (note: piracy is bad blah blah blah but we already paid full price for it and it was the wrong one blah blah blah we are giving Disney THOUSANDS of dollars next week blah blah), but our TV doesn't like the HDMI cables attached to our laptop and so it played without sound. Clearly, the only way to watch this impossible movie is to watch it on a tiny laptop screen. With all four of us crowded around it.

SO, we decided to make that lame notion fun by making a blanket fort and putting the laptop inside it to make a little blanket "theater". And by God, we watched Pinocchio. With sound. And it was great.

T-3 days until Disney!!
