Day 260: Disney World Day 2

We spent our second day in the parks solely at Magic Kingdom just like the day before. It's our favorite park and offers the most to do and see for our family. After staying up until almost 2am the night before, we basically took a 4 hour nap and went right back to Magic Kingdom to open the park.

Highlights of this day were meeting Gaston and somehow getting on the brand new 7 Dwarfs Mine Train ride without a fastpass (aka rushing the gate when the park opened), and Camden getting picked out of the crowd to play the Beast in a play at Belle's Enchanted Tales. He loved playing the Beast but DESPISED dancing with Princess Belle once he "changed" back to the prince and had a grumpy face on the rest of the dance. Funniest thing ever.

One thing that surprised us about this trip. Calen is relatively shy when it comes to meeting characters (not scared, just clams up), which is opposite of his personality. Camden does NOT like the bigger rides with big drops (Splash Mountain, Mount Everest, even the 7 Dwarfs Train), which is opposite of his daredevil personality. Calen finally opened up to the characters towards the end of the trip, and Camden was willing to go on the big rides if he got a "medal" for it (those collectible pins for each ride).

The park closed earlyish (7pm) that night so the kids swam a little after we got back to the hotel and we slept HARD that night.
