Day 237: They See Me Rollin', They Hatin'

For reasons beyond me, the Kindergarten class at the boys' school gets released a full hour before the rest of the grades. What this means for me is I have an hour with Camden before Calen comes rolling home at 3. Luckily for Cam, half of his Kindergarten class lives on base. And three of them live on our block. So almost every day after school, we all open our garages, get another round of caffeine and tell the kids to go run/play/go insane for an hour or so until the big kids come home.

Seriously, stay out of my house and go run around outside.

Cam's buddy Kael got a new ESCALADE (Power Wheels edition, because 5 year olds) and for a while today Kael, Cam and their other Kinder buddy Caleb were rolling around the block in nicer wheels than any adult on this base has, that's for sure.

For a time, they were riding around so crazy like kids were flying out of the back of it, playing chicken with the mail truck and getting air by jumping the curb, and they challenged Caleb's baby brother to a race on a Power Wheels tractor.

Meanwhile, us three moms are standing outside as our future flashes before our eyes when our 5 year olds are 16 year olds doing equally stupid shit in real vehicles and racing farm kids on real tractors.

God help us all when they're teenagers.

Trouble!!! x3
