Tonight we watched the Little Mermaid, which the kids surprisingly enjoy (except for that last kiss at the end, then they both writhe on the floor and pretend to barf). During the first scene with Ursula, Cam jumps up to stand on the couch and points.
"Hey! That's the octopus!"
Me: "Yeah, her name is Ursula."
Cam: "Yeah. She's a girl. But then when she gets big and turns into a giant she turns into a boy."
Me: "What? She's a girl!"
Cam: "Yeah, but when she gets big she gets a really deep boy voice and that means she turns into a boy. A big man boy."
You'll never look at Ursula the same again.
