As I've mentioned a few times before, Calen's bat is HOT.
This is not usual for him, so I'm making a big deal about it.
According to his team's stats app, he's dead middle of the lineup (instead of usually dead last), and even topping some of the "heart of the order" hitters in On Base Percentage and batting average.
This has scored him a spot as 2nd or 3rd spot in the batting order.
Atta kid.
I had a house to clean today but I took a few hours off so I could watch him play. He didn't disappoint me and had a single, a walk, and a sac-ground out.
