Boredom Emergency Kit

Every household that has a toddler should have a required Boredom Emergency Kit. You know for those days where you think it's nice and sunny out and promise the kids to play outside and then you get to the playground and realize that it's blowing 145mph freezing winds and you have to go inside after ten minutes and crush their souls. And they retaliate by being bored and whining and fighting over everything that can (or can't) be fought over.

It is that moment where breaking out the Boredom Emergency Kit is imperative. Something cheap, fast and excitingly new for the kids to do.

I stock my Emergency Kit at the Dollar Store. Stupid shit like stickers, coloring books, puzzles, stupid toys etc.

Today we busted out these ridiculous gummy Jack O' Lantern window stickies. And wouldn't you know it, it entertained the boys (particularly Calen...Cam was just trying to eat them) for the rest of the evening.

Victory once again. At the cost of a dollar.
