Dragon Races

Across the street from our house is Cape May Harbor and a bay and all that. Apparently today there was a big fundraiser where a bunch of teams race these long paddle "dragon" boats (looks like Chinese New Year crew boats or something). They race and they make money for their charities or whatever was happening. Okay I'm not really sure what was happening but I broke it down to this:

a) people dressed up funny racing boats and banging drums. 

b) eight thousand people parking in our private parking lots, in front of our house, anywhere, everywhere.

c) free entertainment for the boys across the street from my house. 

Though it was a beautiful day we didn't last long out there no thanks to the bitter wind and an especially cranky sick Caminator.
