Day 193: Quiet In The Library!

It was another very rainy day today and I've about had it. We needed a change of pace.

So, we headed to the library!

Our library is small (albeit decent size for Kodiak), so we brought two large plastic bags full of books that we were done with to donate. I had the boys do all the talking (life skills and all that), and they said the donation drop off is at the grocery store, of all places.

Ooookay.

Spoiler alert: By donation drop off, they meant one of those small recycle tubs people have in their houses behind the cashier. I mentioned to the boys that a PROPER donation drop off bin/shack/whatever on site at the library would be a great Eagle Scout project....hint hint.

Anyways.

So back at the library, the boys wandered around the sections trying to find something decent to read. I required at least one chapter book from each of them for summer reading (even though we have a lot of chapter books at home, it's good to broaden their horizons a bit).

It always cracks me up the books that they choose. Boys are funny.
