This morning Fred left a note announcing that he had hidden 20 candycanes around the downstairs of our house and they had to go find them. By the time I came downstairs for the morning, they had found 17 out of 20. Pretty good!
To stick with the theme, if there was one, when they came home from school they laced red, white and green beads onto pipe cleaner to make candy cane ornaments while I made dinner.
After that, we watched the Grinch and called it a night. Some nights you just can't Martha Stewart all the way.
