I never knew what Cinco De Mayo was actually for. So I Wikipedia'd it. And you know what the first sentence was?
"Cinco De Mayo is a celebration held on May 5. It is celebrated nationwide in the United States and regionally in Mexico, primarily in the state of Puebla where the holiday is called El Día de la Batalla de Puebla "
Which actually means that Cinco De Mayo is celebrated more in America than in Mexico. And Mexico has a much cooler name for it that Americans can only dream of pronouncing. So it's an American Mexican holiday. Or something.

I celebrated Cinco De Mayo the way everyone should: kid free. Unfortunately there were no oversized margaritas involved. Better luck next time.
My friend Ashley (great name isn't it) and I spend the entire afternoon without our five combined kids shopping.
