Stay In Your Homes!

Today there was an "excessive heat index warning" as it reached 100 degrees and the heat index topped at 110. The Weather Channel website recommended to "stay in your homes" and avoid being outside in the heat. 

So the kids got to sit inside and watch tv and veg most of the day. 

A lazy day in front of the tv? Oh darn. 

(except for that one part of the day where Calen and I went over to a friend/neighbor's house and played in their pool for maybe an hour. Until the heat literally made us melt into a puddle on the sidewalk and we decided it was time to ooze home). 

Time to veg out!
